Bring your documents
Valid South African ID, two ID photos (35mm x 45mm), and proof of address no older than three months.

R68 to apply, plus R33 for the licence card once you pass. Provincial tariffs vary slightly.

Done at the centre. Bring your glasses or contact lenses if you wear them.

Sit the 68-question paper
30 road rules, 30 road signs, 8 vehicle controls, 60 minutes, each section marked separately.
